In Audun-le-Tiche, the SK Coif salon is part of the landscape. For clients, it's a regular appointment to get their hair done, but also to confide in others. "We know everything about everyone! I can even tell you who's going to run for the municipal elections and who's going to vote for whom," laughs Sylvie, the manager, who has been here for ten years and has been a hairdresser for 45 years. While the salon often echoes with the laughter of its clients, it is also a discreet witness to many sorrows. The hairdressers then, despite themselves, take on another role: that of confidant.
